Bitty Baby with rooted hair?

I just found a GOTZ doll that is identical to Bitty, except for the bright blue eyes and rooted hair.Does anyone know if this doll is a Lil' Punkin? Did they make them with the Bitty face?

gotz was the original makers of the american girl dolls so they are very similar. They do have rooted hair and it should stand up to more use then todays dolls. The only difference I have ever known was a white body instead of a flesh toned one.

Thank you [img]smile.gif[/img] I am very excited to be adding her to my collection.Now I am eager to see the color of her body too.I have a couple of GOTZ with tan bodies, maybe she will have one too.I just love Bitty and I could not pass this one up, even with her BRIGHT blue, sorta creepy looking eyes, lol.Thanks for your help.

We just got a Maxy Muffin by Gotz. She is too cute!!! She's about the same size as Bitty but we don't have many of Bitty's clothes to try on.

Maxy Muffin is so cute! I just love her.I have the one with med. skin and dark hair.I have not been able to make myself change her clothes yet, but I know she has the same body as Bitty.She would be cute in anything.

I have a gotz lil' sister with a flesh body and I know one kind of baby that comes with a flesh body. My littlest girl has a gotz baby that I rewigged. They are great dolls and I love their expressions, very open to dramatic play. too bad they have stopped producing them now.

Oh I love the Little Sister dolls! I do not have one, but I wish I did.
Yes, some of the GOTZ Dolls have such terrific expressions.I have a baby doll with painted hair like a Bitty, and he has a tan body, as does my Maxi Muffin.
I was just so suprised to see Bitty with a headful of hair.I remember seeing a wigged Bitty someone posted here a week or so ago, she was a cutie too.
It is a shame that Gotz has stopped making dolls.I know their dolls will be missed.
